Ethics is one of the most important aspects of human personality, and the subject of "moral character" is considered a sub-category of topics in the psychology of ethics.The important question in this regard begins with the question of whether moral character is formed before birth and is naturally present in the human body or is it acquired. If formation is acquired, what factors are effective in its formation and correction? And if moral character deviates for some reason, is it possible to correct it?According to the questions raised, this study seeks to find an answer to these questions after examining the views of Shahid Motahhari. The research method was descriptive-analytical and using text analysis method.The results of the study showed that unlike some Western philosophers who have a one-dimensional approach to this issue, Shahid Motahhari is a comprehensive thinker and has a broad and comprehensive view of issues.In addition to accepting the issue of constructing and reforming moral character, he also considers it to be influenced by various factors such as age, parents, self-purification, conscience, wisdom, faith, role modeling and discretion. Therefore, it can be claimed that his view on this issue has a special comprehensiveness. هدف پژوهش حاضر، ساخت و اصلاح شخصیت اخلاقی و عوامل مؤثر بر آن از دیدگاه شهید مطهری بود. اخلاق ازجمله مهم‌ترین ابعاد شخصیت انسان است و موضوع «شخصیت اخلاقی»، زیرشاخه‌ای از مباحث مطرح در روان­شناسی اخلاق به‌حساب می‌آید. مسئله مهم در این باره از این سؤالات آغاز می‌شود که آیا شخصیت اخلاقی، از قبل تولد شکل گرفته و به‌صورت طبیعی در نهاد انسان قرار دارد یا اکتسابی است؟ اگر شکل‌دهی به آن اکتسابی است، چه عواملی در شکل ­گیری و اصلاح آن مؤثر است؟ و اگر شخصیت اخلاقی به دلایلی دچار انحراف شد، آیا امکان اصلاح در آن وجود دارد؟ باتوجه به سؤالات مطروحه، این پژوهش درصدد است پس از بررسی دیدگاه شهید مطهری پاسخی برای این مسائل بیابد. روش انجام پژوهش، توصیفی ـ تحلیلی  و با استفاده از روش تحلیل متن صورت گرفت. نتایج پژوهش نشان داد که برخلاف برخی از فلاسفه غربی که رویکردی تک‌بعدی نسبت به این موضوع دارند، شهید مطهری اندیشمندی جامع‌نگر بوده و بینشی وسیع و همه‌جانبه نسبت به مسائل دارد. وی علاوه بر پذیرش موضوع ساخت و اصلاح شخصیت اخلاقی، همچنین آن را متأثر از عوامل گوناگونی نظیر سن، والدین، تهذیب نفس، وجدان، حکمت، ایمان، الگوپذیری و اختیار می­ داند. ازاین ­رو می­ توان ادعا کرد که دیدگاه او در ارتباط با این موضوع از جامعیت ویژه ­ای برخوردار است. https://esi.isu.ac.ir/article_75359_059bbb4c4d216af2eb3b338001bd686a.pdf
