Abstract

Dialogue is an ancient human phenomenon with various theories and philosophical paradigms based on its epistemological nature. The theories have evolved in relation to the scholar's view on man and his role in constructing facts. Regarding dialectical method in teaching the above mentioned theories need to be scrutinized. The writer while following analytical approach, by adopting dialectic method as Socrate's (the founder of dialogue based education) methodological approach, studies different areas of the use of dialogue in Bakhtin's dialectic method, Gadamer's, hermeneutics interpretation and Haberma's communicative actions. Taking into consideration the theoretical principle derived from them the writer offers a practical model of education based on Fereire's view of dialectic method.
