Designing and Validating the Model of Parent-Child Interactions Based on Quranic Teachings with a Focus on the Sharing Approach

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate and analyze the content characteristics of the parent-child interaction pattern based on Quranic teachings, focusing on the sharing approach. The method of this research is qualitative content analysis and written documents were used to collect data. The society studied in the research was the Holy Qur'an and Tafsir Noor. The units of analysis in this research are verses related to parent-child interactions, which were first selected in a targeted manner from the Qur'an, and then from Tafsir Noor, and theme analysis was used to analyze the data. After coding, focusing on human agency, 2 overarching themes of parents' responsibilities and children's responsibilities were obtained. Based on this, 6 organizing themes, 18 basic themes and 64 examples for parental responsibilities were extracted. The findings show that the organizing themes of parents' responsibilities include honoring the child, religious upbringing of the child, individual empowerment of the child, social empowerment of the child, belief in the production and development of the generation, and child care. In addition, 2 organizing themes, 6 basic themes and 16 examples for children's responsibilities were extracted. The organizing themes of children's responsibilities include kindness and obedience. It should be mentioned that the word "Ihsan" because of its wide meaning includes themes such as giving to parents, praying for parents, gratitude to parents, humility before parents, respect for parents and generous speech with parents. Finally, these themes are in the form of the network of the website is drawn and the relationships between them are shown in the form of a template, and the internal validation of the template was also done using the Delphi method, and it showed that the template has high content validity.
