This research was carried out with the aim of designing a model for establishing the religious identity of students in the second year of elementary school with a qualitative approach and the foundational data method of Strauss Corbin type. The participants of this research included all managers, teachers and knowledgeable people in Qom and Central provinces who had an active religious presence in primary schools. The sample members were selected using the purposeful and snowball sampling method. The interview data collection tool was semi-structured and theoretical saturation was achieved with the number of 12 interviews. Strauss and Corbin's three-stage coding method was used for data analysis. Retest reliability percentage method was used to determine reliability. The findings showed that the central category in creating students' religious identity is the components and examples of religious identity. Also, the causal conditions of creating religious identity included personality traits, human factors, aesthetic and artistic dimensions, motivation and correct explanation of religion. Contextual factors, school, use of sacred spaces, appropriate time, geographical factors, internal factors, resource allocation included variables of coercion, complacency, lack of planning, irresponsibility, media, human factors, incorrect educational policies, lack of attention to individual characteristics and differences were determined as intervening conditions. The findings showed that correct education, value generation, educational solutions, educational coaches, the right to choose are considered as strategies. Based on the findings, the implications With the components of being on the path of natural education, increasing dynamism, increasing insight, moral commitments, preparation for the realization of a virtuous life in all dimensions, promoting and deepening religious and Islamic culture, coping with crises and internal cohesion, suggestions were presented based on the findings of the research.
